Before and After

Well the guest bedroom turned out really nice. I wasn't sure about the colour because it has a 'hint' of orange in it but it goes great with the comforter and accessories. I guess that's why it's called Sunset Beige ...lol. What a difference paint makes. The room seems so much cozier.

Next the dining room ... in the next few weeks hopefully. I'm pretty sure I'm sticking to my original colour plan.

I've noticed over the past week or so alot of different birds seem to be coming back. Over the winter we seemed to only have Chickadee's, doves and woodpeckers around. Now starlings and sparrows etc have been coming back. And it seems like there is alot more 'singing' going on. Looks like spring is around the corner and they must sense it. Wayyyyy behind our house in the conservation area there is a dead tree that sticks up amongst all the others. It seems to be a perching post for larger birds looking for prey. We've seen Hawks, Eagles and even a Blue Heron perched on it. The other day I noticed a large bird on the top and of course ran to get my camera. I had to 'super-zoom' to get it but it was a Red Tailed Hawk. It's funny it looks small in the picture but it must be an illusion because it was so zoomed. When it flew away the wing span seemed huge.

Only two parts left of the Wedding Wishes Series ... so here is one of them.

Wow, I love the way the guest room turned out. Its true that colors can make such a difference in a room. Great picture of the hawk, he looks big to me. We get them flying around out here looking for prey in the fields.
Thanks for another great installment for the wedding series.

Hugs, Wendy

What a difference the paint made. I cannot believe how much everything "pops" out now. You have me thinking I may need to do a little painting in my bedroom!
