Rainy Day

The rain started yesterday afternoon and hasn't stopped! We actually had hail for a few minutes yesterday and quite the thunder and lightening storm. I guess that's the only problem about spring.

I totally understand that when people are out 'freebie hunting' that they are going from one blog to another and might be trying to cut back on time. But have you ever stopped to think - If you were in a mall and someone came up to you, out of blue, you didn't know them and handed you a package of scrapbooking supplies for free what would you do? Would you say thank you? I think that 99% or maybe even 100% of people would. For some reason when people give away free digital scrapbooking supplies on the net, people don't feel the need to say thanks. I guess because you don't actually see the person who's taken the time to make them or even give a second thought to how much time they put into it. But honestly, sometimes I feel like I'm a victim of 'hit and run' ... like I'm not a real person ... lol. For example the Simple Days I gave away a week ago had 180 downloads - but only 5 people commented and one of them was my sister ... lol. I realize this is normal for most designers but I just find it a little frusterating. Don't get me wrong I don't do it for the thanks. I do it for the love of creating. It's just an observation that kind of makes me wonder why people don't feel the need to be polite in this 'cyber world'. I also know it's the same for everyone giving away freebies. All we ask for is the same common courtesy that hopefully you taught your children and that you would want. Oh, who am I kidding? Most people won't even read this! LOL
Ok, I'm done bitching it must be this rainy day that's getting me down ... lol.

Today I put a few things in LLL Creations Dollar Mart.

And the layout below shows the size of the word art against a 12x12 inch (3600x3600 pixel) layout.

Only $1.00 and you can get it here or through my store under the Word Art category.

And also Zodiac Frames;

And the layout below shows the size of one of the frames against a 12x12 inch (3600x3600 pixel) layout.

You get all 12 frames for only $2.00~! You can get them here or through my store under the Frames category.

I was going to put the dates for the horoscopes on these frames but it's different in Canada and U.S.A. For example my daughter was born on November 22nd. In Canada she is a Sagittarius but in the United States she is a Scorpio. They call that being on the cusp. Which means she has the qualities of both signs - which she does~! lol

And to stop thinking about all this rain todays freebie is all about sun and fun.

Download Beach Papers

SORRY LINK HAS EXPIRED
YOU CAN NOW FIND THEM HERE.

The backgrounds of these 4 papers are pictures that I took on various trips.

Yep, that's me up there parasailing in Mexico. I'm afraid of heights believe it or not but it was amazing~! My husband and I went up together. Of course I took my camera up with me and my daughter was in the boat taking pictures.

P.S. - Happy Mothers Day tomorrow to all the mothers out there~!

I know what you mean. I don't understand how people forget to say Thank You. One of the blogs I subscribe to has her password set as THANKS for her freebies. I love it! People who may not want to take the time to leave a comment have to say Thanks anyway whether they want to or not. ROFL!

You've been posting some pretty amazing pictures of the birds in your backyard. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Thanks so much for taking the time to create and share your freebies with us. Its very appreciated. Hugs, Wendy

Thank you for the wonderful beach pages. I wish we had rain...we are in a draught right now (better watch what I wish for!LOL).

I am sorry I don't comment more often. I use Google Reader to read my blogs, and there is no way to comment from there. To comment, I have to go to the blog itself. That is not a good reason not to give our thanks, but I seem to forget when I don't see the comment link at the bottom.

Thanks for all your hard work. I love it!

But I still say 'thanks' for being my talented and creative l'il sister. :-)
