Proud Canadian ~

Canada Day is coming up this Wednesday and I am one proud Canadian. My mother was born in Ireland and I am so thankful her parents made the choice a long time ago to immigrate to Canada. Not that I don't think that Ireland is a beautiful country and probably a wonderful place to live also. I've always been proud of my Irish heritage. But I think they made the right choice for the times and I am thankful because I was fortunate enough to born Canadian. I'm 49 years old and I'm still finding new reasons to be greatful for living in this beautiful country. Canada will officially be 142 years old.

Happy Birthday Canada~!!!

Many times when I am creating something I start out with one idea and it turns into something totally different ... lol. (I think that is normal when designing??) Well, this is what I ended up with after starting out with a whole different idea.

I really struggled with the previews. These hangers are too detailed to ever show properly in these small pics but trust me, they are nice ... lol.

There are two different sets that went into LLL Creations Dollar Mart today;

First - Birth Month Hangers ~

You get all twelve months of the year. Each month shows the birthstone and flower for the month. Here's a layout to show you the size against a 12x12 inch paper.

(Paper shown in layout is part of a set and can be found here.)

And for those of your who would like to use them for babies ...
Baby Month Hangers;

Do you know there is NO babies anywhere in my family or my extended family. I haven't held a baby in years. I actually had to use a picture of a baby I 'borrowed' from an online store that sells baby clothes to do this layout. They didn't have a contact email to ask for permission, only a order form but I couldn't see any copyright info for the pictures and this is the only thing I will use it for.
BUT that's going to all change soon because my nephew is having his first child in September ~~

(Paper and overlay are part of a set that can be found here.)

Anyways, they really look so much nicer when you see them full size. Again, you get all twelve months of the year with birth stone and flower. Each set is only $2.00!
You can get them here or through my store under the Elements category.

AND there is only 2 DAYS LEFT for my promotion.

And to celebrate my strong Canadian Pride I have this Canada Word Art for you;

Download Canada Word Art

SORRY LINK HAS EXPIRED
YOU CAN NOW FIND IT HERE.

And you don't have to be Canadian to download this. If you've ever been to this wonderful country ~ Sue ... lol ~ or plan to in the future, you can use them to scap your memories.

I was happy to see the Canadian word art; there isn't much Canadian stuff out there...mind you it's better than a couple of years ago. I'm proud to be a Canadian too! Thanks for sharing!

Happy Canada Day! ||♣||
(tomorrow)

70% chance of showers with the risk of a thunderstorm.

Hmmm... maybe the weather man will be wrong. ;-)

Whatever the weather, have a terrific day.
