R.I.P.

Wow, yesterday was such a sad day ~ First hearing about Farrah Fawcetts death. What a courageous woman! Her stuggle with cancer was told in a tv show called 'Farrah's Story' just over a month ago. Unfortunatley I missed it but everyone said it was such a sad story. And then later in the day hearing of Micheal Jacksons death! Another sad story. Micheal Jackson is only about 1 and a 1/2 years older than me and when I was about 8 every single little girl had a crush on him. He was such an amazing artist and I hope both Farrah and Micheal rest in peace.

Another gorgeous day out. Decisions, decisions ... I would LOVE to go for a nice long walk down one of the trails we have around here BUT we have a severe thunderstorm watch and I'm afraid of getting stuck in the middle of nowhere. To look outside now you would never think it's going to storm but it's very humid and things can change so quickly. I'm going to keep checking the weather and if it changes I'll still go.

Today I put these Scalloped Papers in LLL Creations Dollar Mart;

You get 7 very pretty scalloped papers for only $1.00. You can get them here or just go through my store under the Papers category.

(Word Art shown in layout is part of a set and can be seen here)

And you still have lots of time to get in on my promotion;

Today I have a Summer Cluster Word Art for you;

Hey Lil. It's funny that you mentioned about being undecided about going for a walk. I went for a walk this morning along the Welland Canal. It was nice and sunny on the 6 minute drive over to recreational trail. Just as I got to the parking lot it started to rain, and within a minute a thunderstorm rolled in ... the sky filled with dark clouds and it POURED buckets with lightening and thunder. I thought I'd wait it out in the car. I'm glad I did because about 15 minutes later, the sky cleared and it was gorgeous out again... but MUGGY!!!

I thought of you yesterday when we heard about MJ's death. You were a HUGE fan as a child. He was a genius musically, but his life was tragically sad and became just plain weird. Still... he is/was the king of pop.
