Was That So Hard? and Thank YOU!

I would like to say I feel much better since the last post. I guess when us designers give away freebies we just want to feel ... real. When you see that you've had many downloads and no comments you get to the point you feel like your an invisible idiot and wasting your time. I really enjoy reading comments and having at least some communication with the people that come here to my blog. We take the time to create, upload and write the blogs and don't ask for alot in return so I hope people can understand that we all get frusterated. So thank you for taking the time, it's MUCH appreciated!

Anyways, I've been asked a few times what kind of camera I have. It's a Canon S5 1S and it's a little over a year old. It's an 8 mega pixel with 12X optical zoom and I love it!. It has auto and manual focus and alot of great picture effects and options. Of course it's outdated already (LOL) and they have a newer model which I'm sure is even better. I've always owned Canon cameras and I've always been happy with them. I tend to stick to a brand I've been happy with no matter what it is.

Ok, so everything ALWAYS takes longer then you think it is going to. The guys started working on the gazebo roof on Friday and took a break for the weekend and are back at it this morning. The plan is for it to be complete today. But on the weekend my husband made some really nice lattice to go around the bottom because of the slope of the land. This pic is from the weekend.

AND, guess who came to visit again this morning when the guys first started working outside.

This definately is not the same one as last time. It was a little bit smaller (but it was still pretty darn big!) and you could tell it was not as old. (Less wrinkles around the neck ... lol) It's like living in a zoo here! I love it!!!

Today I put these 2 frames in LLL Creations Dollar Mart;
(Click on picture for larger view)

And here's the size against a 12x12 inch layout;

As usual, each frame is only $1.00 and you can get them here or through
LLL Creations Dollar Mart under the frame category.

AND DON'T FORGET TODAY IS THE LAST DAY for my promotion;

Here is today's freebie;

Hey sweetie,
I've been away for a bit. My hubby got me a new computer for Mother's Day and it uses Vista as the operating system. I've been trying to get accustomed to it and transfer my things over. Of course this one is a 64 bit so I've had nothing but problems with programs cause a lot of them don't like Vista. lol! Oh well, at least I got a great gift, just got to fine tune things. I've looked through all your previous posts and love the gazebo! The turtles are a hoot! How awesome to have such wonderful wild life come onto your property from the conservation area. And all the baby swallows have flown the nest! Gosh, I remember when you wrote about seeing the momma and daddy birds, in the bird house. Time sure does fly. Have a great week! The gazebo will be finished before you know it. Hugs, Wendy

So, a turtle and a snail were arguing over who was more physically fit. They decided to settle it by having a 5-foot long race.

An hour later, halfway into the race, they crashed into each other and were both stunned.

When the police showed up, the snail was still unconscious, so he asked the turtle what happened. The turtle told him, "I don't know officer, it all happened so fast!"

Great job on the lattice Peter. How many times did Lil have you re-measure and re-check to see that the holes were lined up level? ;-)
