Confused Cacti

My Christmas Cacti is in full bloom. I think it's a little early ... lol.

Yes ... it has 2 different coloured flowers. The flowers are so gorgeous~! I wish we knew exactly how old this plant is but we aren't sure. We know it's over 25 years old. It was my husbands mothers plant and it's huge.

As far as the timing maybe it's just me. I am shocked at how many people already have their Christmas lights up and their tree up! I was walking down one of the streets in the neighbourhood last night and it really surprised me. Does that make me a scrooge? lol

I have to admit I don't enjoy Christmas like I used to. But I guess for years I just didn't even think about Christmas until my daughters birthday was over which is on Nov 22nd. Wow ... she is going to be 27 ~!!!

Time flys ... my great nephew is 2 months old already~!

And that brings me to the new items I put into
LLL Creations Dollar Mart today;

These are awesome - thank you!
I hate how christmas things are in the shops in november and even october now - it takes the christmas spirit right out of me. And surely playing lame elevator music style christmas carols for more than 4 weeks breaches health & safety regulations! LOL

Thanks so much for this lovely set of date stamps! Wanted to mention that I, too, have an old cactus, though mine is a Thanksgiving cactus rather than a Christmas one. Mine belonged to my grandmother, who's been gone 39 years! I also have her rabbit's foot fern, which is so gigantic I'm afraid my kitchen counter, where it sits, might collapse.
