OK, so we are in the middle of a heat wave that has lasted for weeks.  No rain in sight.  I LOVE summer but this drought is really taking it's toll.  The pond behind our house has dried up and all the larger birds including ducks, geese, herons, loons and ospreys have moved on to find water. I'm sure this drought has affected many animals so lets hope for some rain soon.
