Another busy week ...

We had another busy week here and more crazy weather. My 'NEW' fascination is skies and clouds. This year it seems we are getting the most amazing cloud formations.




On the same day this week these sunrises were taken, we had really dark storm clouds roll in. We actually saw about 3 funnel clouds forming, luckily they didn't amount to anything.





We hardly get two days in a row without rain anymore. But the weather man is telling us the next 4 days should be great~! I'm counting on it because we are going camping for a few nights. Yesterday we went to the Toronto Zoo, we haven't been there for 10 years. We had great weather and it was alot of fun.

Day 6 ~!

Wow, this is much harder then I thought it would be. Today will be day 6 and even though I'm hoping the worst is over, the mental addiction is horrible. My mind is telling me I need one and it's funny because I imagine having one and the thought of it is not pleasant. The 'physical' craving is not there anymore, it's definately all mental now. My husband went out on Saturday and bought a pack. He had a couple on Saturday and again on Sunday. :-( If I stay strong and never smoke again I know he would never smoke in front of me and if it was possible to actually just smoke 2 a day that would be great. But from everything I've read it doesn't stay like that. Maybe today he will be stronger. Maybe today my brain will shut up! LOL

Stir Crazy ...

I realized after I made the 'Q' word for the 'is for' series that it should of been 'quit'. My husband and I both 'quit' smoking 49 hours ago.
Ok, sounds like not a big deal, but it is a huge deal. I have smoked for 35 years and my husband 40. I feel like I can't even think straight, my mind wonders from one subject to the next, my body feels like I'm not even a part of it, and I've already thought of a million reasons why it's not a good time to quit. So wish us luck ... any support would be appreciated ...LOL.

Busy, busy ...

Wow, where has the last week gone? It seems to have flown by. A very productive week though, we finally got 'cracking' on cleaning out the garage and even managed to lay carpet in our laundry room. The weather has been great and is supposed to continue that way, fine with me! This week's freebie is one I hesitated to give away, not too sure about it. But, the last time I thought that about a freebie I had a great response that really surprised me so I'm going to just go for it ...lol.
