The Comfy Life ...

Thanks for all the nice comments about my daughters engagement video. Everyone that watches it just loves it. I can't wait to see all the pictures that Studio 67 took as well. I've seen a few and they are great. If you live in Southern Ontario, Canada I would highly recommend them for any wedding/engagement videos or photo's. They are true professionals. I was so impressed by their work that I put a permanent link to them on the right side of this blog. Take a look at their website and blog and see the magic they create.

Ok, ... now I know my cats are spoiled. My husband keeps telling me he wants to come back in his next life as my cat ... lol. As I said before we've been letting them out on the upper deck when we are out there and they are loving it. Well, I came across this straw mat with cats on it and put it out there - It makes a great scratching mat. (Nemo doesn't even have claws but he thinks he does ... lol). And then I decided to put a basket out there too. They've been taking turns curling up in it and relaxing in the sun.



I don't think I spoil them. I'm just making their life a little more comfortable~!

That was exciting~!

Well, I have to say seeing my daughters engagement video was sooo exciting for me. I just love it and can't stop watching it ...lol. They both look so happy and when it comes down to it, that's all you can ask for. Studio 67 did an amazing job~!!! They did the video and also took over 1000 pictures which will be narrowed down to include only the best ones. They did it for such an amazing price and of course she gets the pictures and video on dvd. If you didn't watch the video I posted yesterday, it's here or in the post below this one~!

On another topic, I promised you falcon pictures. We did end up taking a drive back and actually went for an amazing drive all around the area. These falcon nests are all over the place just outside of town.







It's obvious these platforms were put on top of the poles for exactly this reason. What a great idea!









We would stop on the side of the road by one of them and as soon as I would get out of the car you could hear them - they didn't like me around at all! And when I got a little closer to the post a large group of adult falcons were all of a sudden swarming over top me! Very cool~!!!!

NOTE: I have since found out these are not even falcons - they are ospreys. I'll have to try and get my birds straight ... lol~!



They are gorgeous birds and so majestic~!!!

It's August~!!!

WOW ... August already! Time just flys by. But it's starting out good because it's absolutely gorgeous out. Today is definately an 'outside' kinda day. We took a drive yesterday and just outside of town we were driving down a county road and I noticed a really large nest on top of a hydro pole. We slowed down to look and there was a falcon with babies sitting in the nest. We realized someone had put a landing on top of the post made out of wood and the falcon had built a big nest on top. It even had little trees growing at the back on the nest ... lol. We kept driving and there was another one with another falcon in it. I dont' know whether the hydro company put them up or someone else but I would think it would have to be hydro. Of course I didn't have my camera so we are going to take a drive back. It was so neat!
