Don't be surprised to see some baby tree swallow pictures soon. The mom and dad have been taking turns in the bird house and I'm sure they are tending to the eggs. One goes in, one comes out. They are such good parents~!
We went through this last year and were lucky enough to wake up one morning with a baby tree swallow sitting on our deck railing. He was so adorable. It was a windy morning too and he was hanging on for dear life~! We counted at least 6 babies coming out from the house - each at their own pace. The 2nd last one took forever. He wanted to fly out but he just had his head through the hole and looked around and was obviously nervous. I'm sure the baby behind him wanted to give him a shove! lol
I posted pics last June - see the archive here.
Not only that but another baby is on the way. I'm going to be a great-aunt in September ~!

Thanks so much for the sports page headers. So happy to see a hockey one as I have 5 grandchildren playing hockey!
Thanks so much for the sport headers (especially he hockey as my nephew has been playing since he was 4). Isn't exciting watching the baby birds leave the nest? We had a robins nest on our privacy fence this year and I was able to watch them fly from the nest. The last one acted like it needed a little encouragement but finally flew away. I am pretty sure that one of them comes back to our deck every day to "visit." Thanks again for the headers!!
Great sports headers. Thanks so much. Always looking for items for sports pages, since my kids are so involved in them.
