I Believe ~!

This year we have had lots of Woolly Bear Caterpillars around. We actually cut the grass the other day and had to be careful we didn't run over one. I've always liked caterpillars and since I was a kid have loved to pick them up and see them walk from one hand to the next. There is an old myth that the Woolly Bear can predict the severity of the coming winter. Tale has it that if the brownish colour in the middle is wide the winter will be mild and if it is narrow with more black on the ends of the caterpillar the winter will be harsh.



After observing all the Woolly Bears we've had around the last few weeks, I've decided to believe the one below~! LOL
