One thing leads to another ...

Ok, the storage shelves are done ... yay! I haven't got all the totes back in that space yet because we are actually going through them to see what we 'need' and what we 'don't' ... lol. Actually 7 of the totes are just Christmas stuff ... ahhh!

So this part of our laundry room is kind of seperate at the back and just used as a storage area. Heres the progression of the shelves.

This is the space we had the totes stacked.



Each 'space' below holds 2 rubbermaid totes plus a little extra space.



The shelves were done in this wainscoting which is really reasonable in price but because it interlocks it's pretty strong.





That space will hold 20 large rubbermaid storage totes plus a little extra room believe it or not~! We only spent $50 or 60 bucks to build these shelves and it was so worth it. Thanks honey! lol

Ok, but ... that got us thinking ... the laundry room is the only spot in the house that's not finished. So if we built a wall to divide the laundry room and this storage area we could finish off the laundry room for a pretty reasonable price. We could put a door to this area and have the laundry room seperate. So we decided to segregate this area for storage and do something in the laundry room. We might just use the wainscoting for walls because it's only a laundry room. On to another project ... lol.
