Swivel Head

Have you ever wished your head could turn 180 degrees? Yesterday I was outside and of course I had my camera. I walked up to a tree where a cute house finch was sitting and then the male tree swallow that is nesting in our birdhouse landed on the tree facing away from me. As I got closer to it the tree swallows head turned 180 degrees and looked right at me. LOL
It looked so funny!

Obviously that is a defensive characteristic they have. I think humans should have that ability. I know I've wished many times I had eyes in the back of my head~!!! Haven't you?
